So, I've been around enough now to realize "mikeferrari" doesn't cut it as a handle.  Normally I hate aninimity on boards because it, usuallt, is license to act out, but not here.  Still, I need a name.  What shall it be?  My Cedro Dormmates called me Fagowi ( based on a racist African-centric joke) and I have suffered through various derivations of my name, but I expect more than that.  Tony Soprano, for example, is a no pass, as is Elliot Ness.  Cowboy Indian is taken, and I can't even guess what Redrun means.

So, any suggestions?

I'd opt against anything racist, sexist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, islamophobic, or anything else -icky.

You could always choose your first name, as Kathy, Nan3cy, terry, and I do. You could use your surname, as Garvin does. How about your favorite bar as oasis does? Then, there are all kinds of combinations of Cardinal, Stanford, and Farm. It's hard to tell those apart, though.

(I hung out at the "O" for years - a lot - but finally it got depressing, for many reasons too long to go into, and I found I prefer the burgers at the Goose.)

Well, the preferred racing color is yellow, or so my great grand father always said.  :)

Yellow is the color that the human eye recognizes the fastest.  That's why taxis are yellow.  I've incorporated that into my families' fashion aesthetic.  We wear a lot of yellow, orange and red shirts so that we can find each other in crowds.  Fortunately these colors coincide with my teams high school (yellow), orange (Bengals), and red (Stanford).  Now I wish I bought cars in these colors for safety reasons.  I had a conversation with my pre-schooler about the color of her future car.  I informed her that I would buy her a yellow Subaru.  She demanded pink.  I said how about orange.  She countered with purple.  We compromised on red.

Back to the original topic for Mr. Ferrari.  I suggest "FerrariRed" which honors your surname as well as our school color.  It's also an industry term for a particular shade of red.  If you want to be more esoteric, how about "RossoCorsa" which means racing red in Italian.
