Cory Booker at it again.

Can't help thinking the ABC 7 reporter was looking to create a story. Why would she specifically include Booker on the tweet? And then, why would she stick around to cover the story when Booker came to rescue the dog? Sounds to me like she sent out the doggy SOS knowing Booker would respond and all she had to do was stick around for the story.

That was my first thought as well.
"To the press alone, checkered as it is with abuses, the world is indebted for all the triumphs which have been gained by reason and humanity over error and oppression." ~ James Madison

I really don't care what the reporter's motivation was. That dog was going to freeze to death and Cory Booker did what he often does (follow his Twitter, he does this all the time).

There were two BMOCs on campus during my time on the farm. One was Cory Booker. The other was Goodwin Liu who is now on California Supreme Court and I suspect will be in the conversation for the next Supreme Court opening.
Who were the BMOCs or BLOCs on campus when you were at Stanford?

He may be in the conversation, but I highly doubt he'll actually be nominated. President Obama chose Liu to become a federal appeals judge, and his nomination was blocked by Senate Republicans.
It was widely acknowledged in DC that the entire reason Republicans wanted to keep him off the appeals court was that the job would have set him up for a future Supreme Court nomination. He's bright, liberal and young, which worked against him -- if he'd only had two of those three qualities, he probably would have been confirmed by the Senate.

I think their bigger concern might have been voting against an Asian-American for a Supreme Court job down the road. That would anger a rapidly growing minority group. This is why I think the President will nominate Liu to the bench.
Plus he did go to Supreme Court Justice U.

Cory was on Real Time tonight. Maher did bit on Cory's escapades, including one picture with a Superman cape.
WRONG! Superman wears a Cory Booker cape.
I agree with somnambule that the reporter was trolling for a story. She definitely could have brought the dog to the pound in that time. And the owner's contention that the dog got out on her own -- with her puppies? very unlikely.
