Ducks have a tendency to start a little slow, and are probably a bit flat after last week's big game against Michigan State.
Anybody want to bet they don't eventually put up 50, or something close to it?

Oregon took a little more than a minute to even it up. Even if Oregon runs up the score, the game so far shows that the Oregon D can be attacked with a mix of quick throws and runs.

People have been spending a lot of time this year saying Oregon is vulnerable because of their defense, but they have never had a real lock down one. They just tend to score so many points that it just doesn't matter. Hopefully once again this year we will be the exception that proves that rule.

Wyoming able to run the ball up the gut with a lot of success. Despite his $C background, Curtis Conway said something I thought was interesting....that Oregon scores so quickly and often they seldom need a good front-seven run defense. Opponents get down and abandon the ground. I kind of like our chances here.

If you can keep the Oregon offense from lighting up the scoreboard you've got a shot. We've been about the only team that's been able to do that though. Hope that trend continues.

They just flashed the remaining Oregon schedule. I'm sure I've seen it before, but I was struck by what a relatively easy schedule they have.

Blame LSJU and UC for any the "easy" schedules in the P12. Their insistence on playing SC and the Bruins every year has had many unintended consequences......
Note : IMO, the issue is not playing UCLA and SC every season (that was a good idea). The issue is that UC and LSJU should have been placed in the South. That would have negated the scheduling problem. I still don't understand why Utan and Colorado were permitted to call the shots. They were newcomers. They should have been told where they were going....Â

Stanford and UCB will lose out, UNLESS one actually believes that someday Utah, Colorado and the AZ schools will be consistently better than USC and UCLA.

I'm pretty sure UW, WSU, OU, and OSU had little interest in being in the North with Colorado and Utah and probably would not have voted to admit them if they would have been in the same division. I still think the "zipper" divisions would have been better with one permanent game against the other division with your traditional rival (and new traditional rival for Colorado and Utah)

I'm pretty sure UW, WSU, OU, and OSU had little interest in being in the North with Colorado and Utah and probably would not have voted to admit them if they would have been in the same division. I still think the "zipper" divisions would have been better with one permanent game against the other division with your traditional rival (and new traditional rival for Colorado and Utah)

The spoiled children are not helping the PAC12 image. BC has managed to get twice as many points in the first half as Stanford did in the whole game last week. 17-20 BC at the half. According to the announcers, BC is trying to emulate Stanford.

I can't help feeling that way too, even though I know it would be bad for Stanford and the league. Some things just aren't rational.

Looks like UCLA has a decent ground attack. They opened the second half by running down the field, didn't go to the air until it was goal to go. Score is now even.

In the department of "how do you mess up the coin toss?" it is worth noting that UCLA gets to receive the kickoff in both halves. UCLA, having won the toss and elected to defer, was given the first half kickoff too when Texas chose to kick rather than receive.
