Quote:Fundamental, athletic combo-guard brings size to the back court; drives and finishes in traffic; quick 1st-step attack manufactures in mid-range game , stationary game extends to the arc; finishes plays in transition with body control to rim. (Olson)I note that she is classed as a forward in Australia, although Olson calls her a "combo guard."Â She is 185 centimeters, which I believe is 6'1".

Making a short list is proving difficult but she has the help of her coaches, her father and the first-hand experiences of her friends. "I wanted to keep my options open and I wasn't sure college was for me until recently," Horvat said. "It's such a great opportunity to get a degree as well as play the sport you love. "Trying to get a handle on which school to pick is a bit overwhelming but a bit of fun as well - talking to college coaches has been an experience. There is nothing like it." College coaches regularly schedule times to speak with Horvat on the phone and promote their school and why she should attend. They say her athletic style of play should be a good fit in the US game. "I'm getting a lot of great advice from my dad and from friends who tell me how they did it," Horvat said. "You have to work out which school will be the right fit, what it will be like day in, day out for your development, your academics and even whether you will get to play in your best position.

97Â Kiana Williams, PGÂ Karen Wagner H.S. (TX)
95 Maya Dodson, W St. Francis H.S. (GA)
94 Autumn Newby, F Archer H.S. (GA)
92 Shalexxus Aaron, W Juanita H.S. (WA)
91 Estella Moschkau, W Edgewood H.S. (WI)
90 Tea Adams, PG Juanita H.S. (WA)
90 Chantel Horvat, G
Who is missing from this list who we have previously discussed?
Lauryn Satterwhite, Jordan Cruz, Mikayla Coombs, Lindsey Duvall.
Who is a new name we have not previously discussed?
Chantel Horvat.
Keep in mind that this is mostly information reported by the recruits--a recruit could say she was interested in Stanford even if Stanford was not interested in her. And a recruit could be actively courted by Stanford and not tell Hoopgurlz about it. So that makes all this information highly speculative.
That said, what is bothersome is the lack of tall forwards among this group, given that Erica and Kailee will need to be replaced by this class.

A dream school, I kind of want to go to Maryland. Maryland is one of the schools that I like.
