Could use some hands too.
Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working .I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. Peter Gibbons

Can't manage the clock.
Mental mistakes all over the place.
When have chance to make play, don't catch the ball.
OL can't open holes.
It all screams need for new OC. Of course it did last year too, then they looked like a juggernaut for three games.

I was (unfortunately) at the game last weekend. Sat in a section with a bunch of ex-players. Definitely heard this quite a bit - the word steak-eater was thrown around a couple of times - also some other choice words for the OL.
PS: Yay, first TD of the season!

oh hey the conservative coach did a pitch back for a td.
Heroism is not defined by one great act, but by a lifetime of right action.

Thank god woohoo!!! Sort of sad we need a trick play to get our first TD of the season, but there you go.

Flea Flicker?
What's next for the O? Spider 2 Y Banana? Statue of Liberty?

The plays that get categorized as "trick" is sort of arbitrary. Why is a flea flicker much different than a play action?

So, we'll probably eke out a home win against a team that traveled 3000 miles+ and is down to their backup QB.
Our offense continues to be garbage, and it looks like the blame continue to be spread all around. No easy fixes....

The offense is definitely airing it out though, at least compared to last week.
The bottom line is that the OL is mediocre and much of the current offense is predicated on a good-to-great one. Hogan isn't consistent enough, I don't think, to throw it 40 times. But they might have to live with that.

Yeah, the game's pretty much going to form so far. Stanford is winning, but not overly impressively. The offense started to pick up a little toward the end of the second quarter, so maybe they will come out strong in the second half.
