He was getting rave reviews last season.  Losing him and Dissly - arguably the best blocking TE in country last season - will weaken Washington. Will be interesting to see how much losing Pettis hurts them.

Your comment about Pettis is interesting.  I thought he bailed them out of tight spots a number of times last year.  I was
quite happy that the 49ers picked him in the draft as imho he is a substantial talent.

Pettis wasn't in the top few WR conversation (as far as draft analysts and r/nfl_draft were concerned) - certainly not projected to be the 4th one taken in the whole draft - but when the 9ers picked him I instantly liked it. Dude is a monster in the return game and can line up anywhere. I was genuinely surprised he didn't do much damage to us when we played UW this year.
