Tough ending for Wang, but she deserves tons of credit for coming back from three holes back with three to play to force a tie and then almost took the match.  Talk about gutsy!  No shame in that loss.  Tough loss, but the ladies can hold their head up high.

The entire team really deserves a lot of credit. This match was the highlight of the year for them. Their best play in a spring season where they never really put it together after the end of February. It all came down to some tiny errors (untimely 3 putts by Liu and Valenzuela) and a bit of luck (Carta's ball staying out of a hazard when it bounced off a boundary stake). Wang almost had a storybook finish. I hope that Lee and Valenzuela will want to come back and try one more time to win it all.

But golf season is not over yet! The men start on Friday.
