Corosdale, Oregon st, out for season with leg injury. Will be eligible for redshirt

Oregon State has been starting two freshmen forwards: Kennedy Brown and Taylor Jones. Jones is leading the team in ppg, so Corosdale won't be missed all that much. Those two go with Pivec, Slocum, and Goodman. The big question mark for Oregon State was going to be how they did inside since their guards are all top notch. Like Stanford, they have a youth movement there, and their freshman bigs seem to be doing very well. Jones is averaging 20 ppg in 5 games so far. I'm afraid that Rueck has found his inside game.
When we play them, it will very much be a question of whether our freshmen bigs can outplay their freshmen bigs.

I think Corosdale is a big loss. Tudor of course back and hitting threes
Howeever their three 6-8, 6-9 players either can’t play physically or injured

The freshman Taylor Jones (6'4") has started 5 games, is playing 20 mpg, and averaging 16 ppg. Not what I would have expected from a frosh player so early on. Freshman Kennedy Brown (6'6") has 9 blocks already, has started 5 games, is averaging a whopping 28 mpg, but is not scoring so much. A defensive specialist? Their 6'9" giants Mitrovik and Aquino haven't played a minute yet.

Corosdale averaged 7 points and 8 rebounds a game last season. She’s been playing with a bad hamstring that now requires surgery. This is a big loss in my mind

Corosdale had a lot of Pac-12 experience, and that is something that is irreplaceable.
Can’t make assumptions based off of this year because she played just one game, which is too small a sample size to draw conclusions.
Their freshman post is very good, won both FOTW awards so far. Wasn’t even a top-40 player in the espn rankings. The other one, Brown, is more like Prechtel in that she is more face up than back to the basket.
The two 6-9 girls are still out.
Our experience in the paint will go a long way against them.
