I think this is the real killer. If a more "rural" setting isn't a deal breaker for a recruit from the "big city", lots of snow probably is. It is going to be difficult to get a guy from LA to sign up for four years of that white cold stuff. Then, add the wind and you have true misery.

$5 million per year for 4 years will put him is a very good zone, and the funds for staff pay will be higher than is common in the Pac-12. 

The SEC West is brutal, but his different approach may prove problematic.  Leach was pretty close to going to Tennessee two years ago and talked to Arkansas this year.  All three play Bama every year.   So I think "The Pirate" may believe he can get a win or two over Saban. 

I sure hope he shakes up the SEC West and gives the power teams from that division a few high profile losses.

Boy do we nit pick on this board.  The point is that Pullman is a tough sell.  The fact that they can be competitive in the Pac-12 in any sport, let alone football, is amazing to me.  They must have extraordinary alumni support.
