FYI if you are in the Bay Area and over 60 several grocery stores will let you shop before they open to the public

depending on the store senior seems to be either 60+ or 65+ 

we tried this today and the crowds were smaller, the lines shorter and the selection a bit better than our last grocery store visit last Friday

According to KCBS this morning, it also allows those in high risk categories, and those with disabilities. Also, it will be an honor system, and bouncers aren't going to be checking IDs at the door.

I hope online delivery services also prioritize over 60s as well - in CA, Newsom has advised everyone over 65 to stay in and not go out, so if our seniors want to follow this guidance, they need to be able to have reliable means of delivery. While I'm not eager to go out right now, I'd gladly do so if it means a senior gets to stay in and have groceries delivered to them.
