Bryce started feeling like himself again around February, as he continued his rehab alongside Alex Smith. Now he’s in camp and apparently turning heads. The coaching staff has made many glowing remarks about him. He’s also taking reps with the first team when Adrian Peterson rests.
It would be great to see Bryce stay healthy and show flashes of the electrifying speed, talent and heart that we witnessed at Stanford. He’s also such a positive, humble, uplifting guy - the kind of person you really want to root for. Let’s also not forget that he (a) returned for his final year, (b) endured pain for the team to insane degrees, and © lost draft placement and probably a few million dollars because he was trying to score to beat Cal.
If the NFL pulls off its 2020 season, from my perspective, this will be one of the most interesting stories and players to watch.
