I think every stadium had decibel maximums and the sound must be played at the same volume for both teams when they are on offense.

JH losing every time to tOSU has been tough for Michigan to accept.
Losing to MSU at home, even without fans, is really bad.
JH is lucky there isn't a crowd because about now there'd be a lot of unhappy folks in the stands if Michigan can't find an improbable come from behind victory today.
