Stanford plays Arizona again this morning at 10:00 am PT on Arizona's livestream.  It's accessible through either school's WVB website.

I don't see much changing for this match.   It will likely be another exercise in frustration for Cardinal WVB fans.

Berty can't pass.  She is a disaster. She is beyond a disaster.  It's a head scratcher.  She had all last year to work on passing.  She was Volleyballmag.com National High School player of the year.  How do you go from POY to incapable of passing?   Getting McClure back will be a massive upgrade.

Thus far I have been disappointed in the freshman libero.  There were many positive comments about her coming out of high school.  She hasn't shown it yet.

Stanford needs to work on blocking.  The timing and position by the middles isn't where it needs to be yet.

That was too scary.  You can tell those young players felt the tension on that last point.  Actually, it took an AZ service error to win the last point to take the set.  Maybe now they can relax and just play good volleyball and win two more.  Even if they don't, it must feel good for them to win their first set of the season.
