Back when we could run the ball, the game would be over. Today, not so much.

It definitely DID NOT. Why didn't they get that on the replay?
Yeah, several yards short. But there was a black shirt in that general area, beyond the LOS. If he was plausibly aiming for a receiver, it doesn't have to reach the line.

Agree that a play action pass there would be wide open if we could execute it. I thought we should have done it on second and long.

Yuck. But a sack there is better than a mistake or even an incompletion. Still 3:34 is too much time. Defense will need to step up.
