I'm starting this thread to reminisce about our favorite basketball moments from our graduating seniors: Jerome, Hamilton, Lexie Hull, Lacie Hull, and Wilson.  Any moment from their entire career is fair game.

I'll start with one.  I'll pick Anna Wilson's defense of Aari McDonald in our first Arizona matchup in 20-21, on New Year's day in Arizona.  The great McDonald was 3/18.  I think it was Wilson's finest defensive moment.  Wilson also shot 3/4 from three point range.  Wilson did well enough against her in the 2nd conference game and also in the national championship game but that New Year's match up was astonishing.

For Lacie, lots of possibilities.  Lacie helps beat Tennessee as a freshman.  With the injury to Lexie their freshman year Lacie was thrust into a starting role.  Tara will start freshmen when they are the best option.  Against Tennessee she shot 4/5 from three point range while providing lock down defense.  That is an impressive performance from a freshman on a big stage.

By the way, Evina Westbrook torched us for 29 in that game although it was a losing cause for them, so she got her revenge after transferring to UConn.

Mine, I have a lot.. they may not be basketball related.. it was meeting Jamie and Jason Hull… I’ve been a fan of Stanford for over 20 years.. they are the first parents I’ve met and it was so special.. then taking pics with them, their girls.. seeing the team win the tournament championship was amazing.. and taking pics with players and coaches.. after the tournament. Memories I will cherish forever.. in my experience, I’ve been more fortunate to take pics with players and coaches on away trips (2) than games at maples (over 100)

For Lexie - that whole Kansas game?

I agree!  Lexie scores a career high 36 and has 6 steals against Kansas in the round of 32.  In some ways the sheer number of points she scored is not representative of Lexie's greatest strength.  Scoring 36 was a marvelous accomplishment for her, as was going 6/11 from three point range.  But the most valuable part of Lexie's performances have typically been hustle and defense--as her 6 steals in that game do exemplify.  A worthy accomplishment to remember her by!

Alyssa Jerome helps defeat Oregon State as a senior, going 4/5 from three point range.  This was her career high with 14 points even though she did not start and played only 18 minutes.  (She did start 26 games over her career, mainly in her sophomore and junior years.)  What I will long remember, though, is that after more talented players entered the team and relegated Jerome primarily to the practice squad, she nevertheless stuck around for her senior and graduate years to maintain the sisterhood, mentor the youngsters, and was a tremendous fan and cheerleader, never betraying resentment or jealously.
