The record was set in the semi-finals; finals still to be swum. Interestingly, in the Stanford season swims, she's 2nd behind Torri Huske in the 50Y back. It looks like Huske didn't swim the 50M Back at World's Short Course.

Is it surprising that the team representing the United States in the 4x100 W Medley Relay set a world record at the recent FINA Short Course World Championships, with 2 of the 4 swimmers being from Stanford (Claire Curzan & Torri Huske), but there hasn't been a mention of it on the GoStanford.com site?
Torri Huske also was part of the world record 4x50 Mixed Medley Relay and a national record in the 4x50 W Free Relay and a national record in the 4x100 W Free Relay.
I am distinguishing USA record (fastest swim by a US citizen, often call "American record") and Americas (fastest swim by a citizen in a country from North or South America). (A separate US Open record is for the fastest swim by anyone in a pool in the US.) Curzan's 50 Back was a USA record but not an Americas record. FINA didn't list it with "AM" which through me a while until I realized that meant "Americas record"
Clare Curzan results were
Torri Huske had
Stanford's Taylor Ruck (Canadian) had
Pretty good haul....
