I think beating up on bad teams - and yes, the awesome win vs Arizona of course - has clouded people's judgment.
Last 13 conference games (not counting Chicago State):
7-6
2-4 against top half of conference (i.e. good) teams
5-2 against bottom half of conference (i.e. not good) teams
Adj. Offensive efficiency rating would be #40 in the country, which would be 4th in the conference
Adj. Defensive efficiency rating would be #130 in the country, which would be tied with Oregon State for second-worst in the conference
"That performance throughout" would have us maybe 6th in the Pac-12. While certainly more competitive, it's still not good enough to be a tournament team.
