Hopefully he is #1 on their list!

Come to think of it, I think he would be excellent at just about any job; any company or organization out there should snatch him up as soon as possible. Somehow we will soldier on without him, but it would make it a bit more bearable knowing that he is out there working his magic in the Big Ten or some other lucky landing spot.

So, why would a new coach take the job knowing the next AD might undermine him from the beginning, to get his own person in the job?(01-15-2023, 12:21 PM)Maple Leaf Wrote: Assuming the Muir is actually in the running for some job I would assume that he will put on the back burner any decisions regarding a change in the men's basketball program.
He put that decision off until March months ago, but he will have no choice but to fire Haase the day after the season ends

But there's no indication I'm aware of that the University feels the same way about him that I do, which means that sadly he will be the one both firing Haase and hiring his replacement.(01-15-2023, 06:42 PM)winflop Wrote:But what coach would want the job if offered by a lame-duck AD?
