But if our lines, O & D, don’t play tougher it won’t matter.
When our O line tries pass protect we are man handled
When our D line makes some pressure there’s so many missed tackles their guys escape
Without improvement here nothing else anywhere will matter

Agree . You nailed it. Unfortunately, much of these problems are maturity issues. Sac State has an FBC all American who was in his seventh year (not sure how but that’s what the announcer said) that puts him at 25.  We can’t compete with 18 and 19 year olds. We have to find a way to retain fifth year linemen. Until then, we will be manhandled and QBs should get hazardous duty pay.. a form of nil.

I think what scares me is that the guys on the depth chart below some of our OL starters must be really, really bad.  One OL in particular would have been more effective on pass protect if he had simply fallen down and made his guy trip or stumble.

Now I am really glad I didn't accept the offer to be recognized at the game as Buck Cardinal donor of the week, for my puny donations.

Did anyone who was at the game notice if they recognized someone? The person would have had their name announced over the PA and picture on the scoreboard. Plus free passes to the sky box.
