Stanford has three pitchers. It appears # 1 will be a Frosh, # 2 a Soph, both highly recruited

We will have very good hitting very good defense. We have a great Frosh class 2 could start despite all our returnees

Freshman Sydney Boulaphinh looks like she has skill with the bat to possibly get into the lineup or at least come in as a pinch hitter.


The weather forecast I'm looking at indicates 40% chance of rain this evening.  Hope the game can be played.

Nice to hear that Housoton may be looking more like the recruit we brought in last year.  If we can get decent pitching and above average hitting we might still do well.

The good news is, especially with who we face in conference, the conference slate in the ACC is simply weaker than prior years in the Pac. I think it is also much more conducive to winning via home run derby ball. I think, more than anything, we need a healthy rotation. I wonder if Bobk knows who the #4 pitcher is if/when we need that arm.

However, that roadtrip to Tucson for a non-conference tournament against Arizona and Texas, among other teams, could be really rough. I will be thrilled if we get 2 games from that tourney.
