Women's Hoops Recruiting Class of 2026+
Great pickup and unusual in todays climate to get a 2028 commit so early. Seems like she’s highly regarded and will be a top 10 player in her class. Great job and awesome news. Have we ever had an Iowa recruit before?

Didn't Anna Wilson also commit very early in her high school career to Stanford? She worked out. OTOH, Mornhinweg, a football QB, didn't pan out and never enrolled at Stanford.
Nonetheless, Guy is one of the recruits I wanted in the coming years, and it's great that she committed.

Super excited about the Guy commitment. The descriptions I’ve seen of her as a player are dynamic ball handler, great shooter, great defender. There aren’t a lot of 2028 rankings but the one I saw has her in the top 10. She is exactly the kind of player we need to be competitive in the ACC.

Certainly true but I would say with our most recent example of an early commit Swain (also a very athletic skilled guard), her “stock”/ranking has only risen over the past couple of years. Maybe Guy becomes the unanimous #1 recruit in her class, that could happen too.

i certainly hope that her ranking rises, but, if i may tease, for every recruit that rises in ranking, there has to be one that drops in ranking. unfortunately, it's a zero-sum game. brooke, for example, was originally a top-5 recruit.
