Brink but also Nneka, Lexie, & Alanna Smith.  I do think Cameron is still finding her balance after focusing on ACL recovery last year, and I feel like she will really put things together this year.  I also wonder as the season progresses how much the Sparks will use Brink and Nneka together.

I suspect they will keep Ash and Saweh on their dev contracts. We really need a traditional two way post player and watching Nadia's Zaragoza highlights, I'm really hopeful she can give us some useful minutes, both for her sake and ours. We are just getting killed in the paint a lot of games.

I think Eschmeyer is a better blocker than Brink -- certainly at this stage in their careers.  She always stays vertical when blocking, and has excellent body control. I'm excitied that she decided to stay and am looking forward to watching her play, with more playing time, and hopefully a better offensive scheme.

Agreed, I'm hoping AE gets to be better than CB, but, for now, I don't think it's close. There's a reason we refer to blocks as Brinks.

It's not a stat but how many less opportunities did Brink have to block a shot because opponents knew not to challenge her?

I think some of Smith's reduced time and scoring is due to a broken nose she suffered early in the season requiring a mask that she doesn't like. She plays when Dallas needs defense, and looks just fine on O. Dallas is a good and interesting team. I would expect her numbers to increase.

So a 5 game avg of 14.8 mpg / 3 ppg / 3.2 rpg. Not sure if this highlights the risks of leaving a good situation, lack of timing from the injury or something else.
