We get Elijah Brown. He just announced his Stanford commitment.
Of course, UCLA will continue to recruit him up to signing day.

Taylor is beating the biggest programs in the country on the recruiting trail already, before coaching his first game. That's pretty impressive. I imagine this competence is going to translate to the on-field performance very early.
It's almost like Taylor's recruiting pitch is that you should pretty much throw out the last two years when evaluating the program's competitiveness, and guys are buying in to that message.

I did not believe that in this NIL era Stanford would ever land a high four-star+ QB. It isn’t signing day, but this is a really impressive “get” at this stage of the recruiting game.
I am surprised and happy!

In this day and age, recruiting doesn’t stop until a player exhausts his college eligibility.

Very happy with today's commits.
It'd be nice if Brown grew an inch+ in his senior year. He does seem mobile so I hope he can effectively scramble when needed to get that first down.

If he can throw that well with his atrocious footwork, he might make a decent D1 QB. He needs a lot of coaching and hopefully he will be attending some good camps this summer to work on it. Most of the throws on his reel were off of his back foot or with his feet not set.

Nobody is as fast as Love.
At least via track times, he's nowhere close. (Though I take it with a grain of salt since he's only run in 2 track meets ever.) By this metric at least, Cole Tabb is significantly faster.

We are back to out recruiting the Domers. Both his parents went to ND and he had an offer there.
