First time I'm seeing this. Stanford offered c/o 2025 6'0-6'1" Bryn Martin a guard from Ohio. Seems to be unranked but has quality offers from Vanderbilt, Ohio State, Illinois, Kentucky, Iowa, Harvard, others.

Is the weather in Iowa any worse than the weather in Connecticut? A quick internet check would indicate they are fairly similar.
Weather doesn't appear to have impaired Yukon's recruiting over the years.

Had some relatives in Greenwich. Visited them on my way back from Stanford's campus in the U.K. Nice weather; they took me sailing once. It was fun. Just get out of there before winter hits.

Not everyone likes year-round summer. Some of us really enjoy seasons, including winter with snow. To me, in fact, the weather in New England is more appealing than the Bay Area. Just saying . . .

To each his own. I was born in Connecticut, but moved to the West Coast as a young child when my dad got a coaching job at the University of Washington. When he left that job I asked my parents why we didn't move back. The response was they didn't like shoveling snow.
It would snow about twice a year in Seattle. That was more than enough for me.

Tess Heal of nearby Santa Clara is visiting Stanford as a potential grad transfer. She averaged 19.5ppg last season for a solid Santa Clara team including a 21pt & 8a effort in a 89-50 win over mighty Oregon.

That’s promising news on Heal. I’m also hearing OSU transfer Donovyn Hunter may have a campus visit scheduled.

If Heal is looking to transfer to Stanford as a rising junior with two years of eligibility left, it makes me wonder if there are a bunch of folks who might be in play but are pending admissions decisions for undergrad transfers. I do think it’s interesting that after a flurry of rumors, the OSU portal players haven’t announced destinations.

The Heal family pretty famous in Australian basketball with her dad being a head coach in the WNBL and her sister, Shyla, was drafted by Chicago a couple years back although she has since returned to Australia full time.
