Not understanding the second question. There have been All Star games since the 30's, so many more than nine, I'd imaging.

Bonds, Rose, Clemens, ARod, Mcgwire, Manny Ramirez, Sheffield, Dale Murphy, Andruw Jones for the first part.
Don't understand the second part.

First six were correct, Sheffield was on 9 all star teams, Murphy was on seven, Andruw Jones was on five.
The other three are Ichiro Suzuki and Steve Garvey with ten each, and Bill Freehan of the Detroit Tigers with 11 all star teams.
As for the second question, let's try that again:
Conversely, there are nine players who played their entire career in the All Star era, have been on five or fewer All Star rosters, and are now in the MLB Hall of Fame.

Bert Blyleven, Sandy Koufax, Jim Bunning, Hal Newhouser,, Gaylord Perry, Don Sutton, Phil Niekro, Jim Kaat, Mike Mussina?
Pretty sure about Blyleven - then I just went with a pitching theme.

Great answer, especially if shooting from the hip. Bert Blyleven, only made two all star teams...he made the fewest, and still mad the hall. Kaat made three and Sutton made four. You're right on Mike Mussina, Phil Niekro and Gaylord Perry, they only made five all star teams.
Koufax actually made six all star teams and Bunning and Newhauser made seven.
Remainder are Ferguson Jenkins and Robin Yount (3 each), and Richie Ashburn, Phil Rizzuto and Hoyt Wilhelm.

On this theme, there are only three position players in the hall of fame with a sub-.260 career batting average. Who are they?

Ray Schalk. I only know from a recent discussion with a friend about lowest average in the Hall
Bill Mazeroski

Maraville is right. Missing one, whose stats were:
Batting average .256
Hits 2,086
Home runs 573
Runs batted in 1,584
He was a 13x all-star, AL MVP, 6x AL HR leader, and 3x AL RBI leader

Mazeroski’s .260 lifetime average got me thinking - maybe it was rounded up. Sure enough. His average was .25996 Add him to the list of under .260 hitters. ;)

lex and skip are correct; Killebrew. Lex wins by being first to post.
And well-played, Giants. Even though I didn't have him on the list, being a STEMy guy, .25996 < .260.

Looks to be correct. Chatted with Jack Morris, or should I say his wife, after the 1987 All Star game in Oakland. We were on the same flight heading out that was delayed. Knew it was Jack who I was sitting next to at the gate, but stuck up a conversation with his wife. About 10 minutes into the conversation, he asked if I was a reporter, and I said no. Only then did he enter into the discussion. Red ass, but eventually seemed to be a nice, but wary, guy.

Early Wynn was wrong 3.56. I looked it up. Here’s a hint. He’s one of the greatest hitting pitchers ever.
Nice get Terry. Morris has highest ERA of any HOF pitcher.
