We divide women and men into separate competitions for good reason. In mixed competitions, men would win almost all the time. In certain competitions, men would tend to inflict injuries upon the women, sometimes gruesomely so. It is unmanly and ungentlemanly for men to seek to defeat women in elite sports competitions. Certainly there is nothing wrong with men and women competing for recreational purposes.
As for RT, I check its website almost daily and read reports of interest there. Its news reporting regularly includes views critical of the Russian government, and is more faithful to standards of good journalism than the most prominent U.S. and U.K. outlets. Anyone who believes that the most prominent Western media are independent of state—and fascist corporate—control is delusional. That anyone would dismiss (or remove) a video merely because a Russian outlet produced it is childish.
It seems inconsistent with the rest of your denunciation to call somebody who professes to be a woman "unmanly".

Still amazing to watch Ledecky in the distance freestyle. 2-beat kicking for most of the race, holding 41 or 42 strokes per lap, and about 1:02 per 100 m. Poetry in motion.
Tough 100m race for Simone Manuel. Her trademark slingshot to first place over the final 15m was absent. She will still be on the relay.
Great meet for ex-LSJU, Regan Smith. A rare un-tall, ectomorph build, world class swimmer.

She reportedly still has a great relationship with Meehan. It's an individual sport and what individuals need and want can change over time. It will be interesting to see whether she goes elsewhere to train for L.A. The detailed, interesting profiles in The Athletic of Regan Smith and Torri Huske are worth reading. Torri Huske is taking a gap year and trained at Stanford under Meehan for Paris and has done well, after a year of floundering when she was taking a heavy load of classes. Regan Smith left Stanford for Arizona State's Pro group (giving up NCAA eligibility) because Stanford was simply not a good fit for her in and out of the pool, and her times showed it. That was obviously a good move for her.

To paraphrase a Supreme Court Justice, if she looks like a Gator, swims like a Gator, talks like she's a Gator, then she is a Gator. She's a Stanford alum but that doesn't mean she has to broadcast that wherever she goes. It would be pretty incongruous for her to be such an integral part of their swimming program while promoting Stanford swimming by wearing a Stanford cap.
