Good question. Either because they've given up or the coaches didn't do the math.

Our Wide Receiving Corp has been under rated.
Tremayne, Higgins, Humphreys are out classing their coverage and McKee looks well coached to throw to spots they can climb to.

McKee has a real arm and is accurate. He's a winner.

Looks like McKee fixed whatever it was that was a problem when behind center.

Aww poor USC never recovered from the early penalties.

20 looks better than 19.
If they score 3 more TDs, the condoms will go for 2. No need to do so now.
Yes, but if you don’t get the two point conversion this time, you have a chance to get two point conversions on the next two Td’s to make up for it. If you go for two when you are down eight, and you don’t get it, you wind up two points short.
It’s academic given that they had to score four times in the fourth, but still.

Arrgh! A drop by Tremaine and a doink by Karty.

Who here would trade McKee for Slovis? Helton for Shaw?

That was hilarious. But they at least did acknowledge that U$C got manhandled.

Damned, Tremayne shoulda caught that. He cost us our chance at 49.
Also, amazing that Karty hit pretty much the top of the upright from 49 yards out. Had it been straighter, he could have hit it from 59.

Karty has the strongest leg I've ever seen from a Stanford PK

So, I guess this is what execution looks like? Hmm. Well, I'm all for it.

Even when I’ve been the most down on Shaw, I’ve never wished Stanford could get Helton. Since Day 1 of Helton’s tenure, I’ve been happy to see U$C held back by its uninspiring head coach.

Defenders are pinning their ears back. The tackles are much more solid.

We were 17 point dogs coming into this. So we beat the spread by 39?
How does this rank among underdog wins by Stanford?

Yeah, I’m happy for Helton to be just good enough not to be fired.

Reminds me of my favorite John McKay line — not from his days at USC but when he was coaching the Tampa bay Buccaneers and found out how tough life could be when your team’s talent wasn’t so much better than the opponents’ teams. He was asked after a game what he thought of the execution of his team’s offense, and he opined that that was a pretty good idea.

Well, there was this one time when we were 41 point underdogs…

Slovis is just padding his stats for his draft stock.
