There is a minute to go and we are beating SC 42 to 20 in their own house and the announcers are still talking about how good the Trojans are.
The Trojan students don't seem upset that their team is losing.

I didn’t want to say it in-game, because I didn’t want to jinx things, but if you didn’t know any better, you’d have thought USC was the team with the slow, plodding, predictable offense, and STanford was the team with the dynamic offense.

Did no Stanford fans go to the Mausoleum tonight? I don't think I saw one single shot of Stanford fans on tv.
I did see many shots of Dux fans in Colombus. Perhaps since we both wear shades of red?

I mean there might have been Stanford fans there but showing them would have gone against the production rule to tickle USC's nutsack until their hands were tired.

Even when I’ve been the most down on Shaw, I’ve never wished Stanford could get Helton. Since Day 1 of Helton’s tenure, I’ve been happy to see U$C held back by its uninspiring head coach.
Yeah, well if there was ever any doubt in the U$C faithful's minds that Helton should be fired, this erased it.
It will be fun reading the LA papers about this one.

Amid the consternation after last week's performance, Stanford has now essentially played 6 straight road games
dating back to last year. In that span, we are 5-1 with road wins over Cal, UCLA, SC, and UW. So Kings of Cali
and a road win over UW (where we did walk through in a park).
After Vandy's loss to East Tennessee State by 20 at home, I like our chances to hopefully make it 6-1 before
we get a well deserved home game.

Apparently, Kansas State lost their really solid, experienced QB in the first quarter and his status is uncertain. That’s what totally derailed their season last year.
