Where is that promotion documented? I saw it mentioned at the game, but I can't find it mentioned anywhere online.
What are the terms (app required, days after game, etc)?
One game only? All home games?
If Stanford gets 50 or more kills in a match, show your ticket from the match (I do a screen grab from my Apple wallet) at any chick—fil-a between Gilroy and Daly City the day following the match and get a chicken (or spicy chicken) sandwich for free. I assume it will apply for all home games during the regular season.

Nonetheless, I stand by my assessment. This is a very talented team, but not quite consistent enough to make it to the next level.

Maybe. Not being able to put away teams that are clearly less talented could reflect the lack of a killer instinct, as could losing focus in a third set after going up 2-0 (as happened in our last three matches; as I’m sitting here, Marquette is up 15-9 in the third).
On the other hand, starting slowly in a back-and-forth first two sets and going on a late run to close the set out would not be consistent with a team that lacks a killer instinct.

All is right in the world in the fourth set. Things I liked:
Andrew on the slide
Kurt hitting over/around/through the block
Harvey from the back row
Blyashov hitting .429
Parks serving
Chick-Fill-A for everyone in attendance (alas I watched from San Diego)
Things I didn’t like
Loss of focus at times
Passing left a lot to be desired
Setting… oof (and yet, we hit .307)

if I read the box score correctly, Stanford had 58 kills. All of you who were at the match get out there to Chick-fil-A. Take your ticket stub.

Interesting that Hambly gave up on serving subs and had Lizzy Andrew do her own serving later in the match. She was effective, even got a tape ace.

I don't think Hambly minds too much the start of the third set going awry. Beating Marquette is not their final goal. Being ahead 2-0 gives some room for experimenting or other training. The bad start in the 3rd set gave Stanford an opportunity to see how they can perform when down. They didn't do that great a job, but they went from 3-10 to 17-19 before letting it go. (Btw, the first 2 points of the third set were won by Marquette by some really impressive defense. But after that, it felt like all sorts of things went wrong on the Stanford side.)
In this match, Blayashov had 13 kills and 14 digs, hitting 0.429. Impressive. Of course, there were the 4 aces by Parks plus 3 others with one ace. The kills were nicely spread around: 14, 14, 13, 13.
In the previous match, Lizzy Andrew had 17 kills and 12 blocks.
Demaria played quite well in the previous match (13K, 7B) but didn't get on the court today.
