I rewinded to watch that play again. He didn't touch the ball after his foot touched out of bounds. The other Duck grabbed the ball.

Finally a quality win...2/3 of the way into the season and halfway through the conference season.
Let's see if they can back it up with a couple more. The next two games are very winnable

Yes, Dr. Frankenhaase has discovered the formula and applied it backwards. Instead of fading in February as in previous years, we are now going to peak in February, and take the momentum into March!

This is verbatim what I posted yesterday on TOS. Feels appropriate here too given the discussion:
The worst thing that can happen now is ending on a hot streak and winding up near .500ish in the conference (AGAIN), giving the right people the narrative of "enough positive momentum" to justify retaining Haase for another year.
I don't think that scenario will actually play out, though.

I seriously doubt that we wind up near .500 in conference. I think we can beat Cal at home in our next game, but then after that the schedule looks pretty daunting. At 14-7 (7-3) Utah and (12-9, 4-6) Colorado where we will be underdogs in both, then at home against 15-5 (6-3) ASU and 17-3 (6-3) Arizona, at 14-6 (6-3) USC, 17-3 (8-1) UCLA, home against 9-12 (4-6) WSU and 12-9 (4-6) UW, and then at Oregon and OSU.
I think we can beat Cal and a 2 or 3 of our last 10 games, leaving us at 6-14 in conference. To approach .500 we would have to beat Cal and win more than half of our last 10 games, which seems exceedingly unlikely.

Depends on what you mean by hot streak.
If it's the Oregon State kind two years ago which wins the PAC tournament I'll take it.
Guessing about 1:200 odds if that.

That is slow, and losing
Raynaud is 7’1” but plays at least as much as 6’4”
Maybe Stanford medical could extract some Cam Brink competitive spirit and inject in him
