Passing was not great to start, got better as the set went on.  
Wagner turned a poor pass into a good set for the final point of the first.  25-18.

ETA:  But overall, Wagner's sets were not consistent.

Stanford gets their act together late in the first set and wins it. If you’re not watching the game you might want to take a quick glance and notice the empty seats. I hope the TV $$$ are enough to make up for the lack of attendance. Otherwise this is a money loser.

Or this week, Thursday match vs. Arizona State (at Cal Poly). 

I thought Wagner looked better as the match went on, but still a lot of room for improvement.

Game against ASU on Thursday and gostanford.com shows no livestream or even any live stats.  Any way to get a live stream for this.  It too big a game to house in a cone of silence.

I think #10 to #12 in Monday's AVCA poll seems reasonable.

Stanford WVB presents a classic case study of circadian disruption. Fly east and attempt to adjust. Flt back west and readjust. In sports, circadian disruptions affect fine motor movements the most. Like serving, passing, and setting.

i'm not saying we would have beaten Texas A & M or Penn State. I'm saying we will never know. Penn State only scored 11 points more than we did. Our bad serves were -- what? -- 13.

For Ohio, we chipped in $12 to buy BIG+ to see Stanford WVB in a vacant PS gym. Each set, sleep walking Stanford slowly adjusted We did get to see left handed Sarah Hickman's first kill.

A travel schedule from hell.
