I think Kyu Blue Kelly was also waived?
But Tanner McKee and Michael Wilson were not! Welcome to the NFL! McKee is on one of the league's best teams and Wilson is on possibly the league's worst team.
And Trenton Irwin is back for another Super Bowl run with the Bengals.

I was surprised Kelly was waived. Watched him for a half in last week's game and thought he played very well.

And another for 17 yds so total of 86.

Also, Jake Bailey punted once for 48 yards. The Dolphins didn't need him much in their 70-20 win over Denver!

Quote:WITH DENVER OFFENSIVE tackle Cameron Fleming seeing action on Sunday, 24 Stanford alums have played in the NFL this regular season, in three weeks. None have made a greater impact than San Francisco's Christian McCaffrey, who leads the league in rushing yards and extended his streak of games with touchdowns. Here is the summary of performances from former Stanford players around the NFL in Week 3:

Listening to the Niners game last week, I'm wondering, did the pronunciation Bobby Okereke's last name change? At Stanford, I thought it was O Ka Re Key, now it seems to be O Care O Kay. Am I just misremembering?

I had the same thought watching the broadcast. Wondering if the announcer simply butchered the pronunciation.

I thought I heard he'd changed the recommended pronunciation from what we were hearing while he was at Stanford.
...Yes, here's an article about it:

Now that's a real reason to change the pronunciation of one's name, unlike that dopey Domer 50 years ago. . . .
https://www.wbur.org/onlyagame/2016/12/09/joe-theismann-he%69sman-name-pronunciation
At least the Domer SID tried to something to market their kid for the trophy, unlike our SID the last decade or so.
Just great. The oh so funny auto replace screwed up the link. Any suggestions how to fix it so Voldemort isn't plugged in?

Ur the best. Thanks. Even before I had any connection to the Farm, always thought Theismann was pathetic. Love Plunkett!
Deserves to be in the Hall. Suffered under a crappy team in New England. Dealt to the Niners in what is still regarded as the worst trade in franchise history (worse than trading up for Trey). Only to find a home with Raiders and winning not one, but two Super Bowls. Great story and remains the only two time SB winning QB not to be in the Hall. Pathetic.

Michael Wilson, 7 receptions, 2 TDs vs the 49ers.
CMac is the best player in football not named Mahomes?

There hasn't been a non-QB MVP in the NFL in 11 years. Maybe this is the year? CMC is the rushing leader by a wide margin, and currently the all-purpose leader, even factoring kickoffs and punt returns into the compilation.
