Sometimes it feels like Warren needs to be perfect for Stanford to get into the end zone. Really needed to hit an open Blackburn.
At least the Stanford offense has done a better job than GT's of avoiding third-and-long situations. Hopefully that means something...the way the defense gives up big plays, it may not.
Anderson's holding takes a TD off the board. Sigh. At least the FG was good.

NO -- they score despite two holding calls on GTEC. They tried to help us. No avail. Sad.

I predicted 38-24. With 3 to go in H1, it's 20-10. 40-20 would be pretty close.

I suppose it’s possible to play a worse half than that. But I’m really not sure. Absolute piss poor effort from the defense. And just unbelievable stupidity. That’s a sixth year senior quarterback 10 seconds zero timeouts. Look at the zone if the guys not open, you throw the ball through the goal posts. Hell a freshman high school quarterback knows that. Absolutely pathetic effort.

Warren didnt' play perfectly, no TD.
Stanford has no chance if the running game doesn't come alive in the second half. The way the defense has been playing, it may not even matter.
I'm not saying there isn't a path to victory, because Georgia Tech has its own problems (mainly injury related). But that last drive was some very bad time management, to say the least.

How was it bad time management? They did exactly what they wanted to do. But/for the holding penalty they have the ball at the 4 with time to run 3 more plays. In position to score without leaving any time on the clock for Georgia Tech. Which is exactly what you want to do. Heck, leave 30 seconds on the clock and Tech scores.
It’s also not Pritchard‘s fault that his quarterback ate the football.

That lack of execution to end H1 might very well cost us the game. Little plays like holding calls, lack of TD in the red zone add up over the course of the game. Makes me question our coaching and preparation. Also a 6th year QB should know to throw the ball away there.
Is anyone feeling really confident still Tavita was the "right hire?" It could all still work out. We also might end this year with 2 wins.

Really? He’s a 6th year senior. If he doesn’t know to get rid of the ball in that situation that has nothing to do with coaching. The guy is smart enough to get into Stanford. He can’t be that stupid.
