Everyone always remembers the times they were screaming about a play being called live that doesn't work out but never the reverse. Or, what about the times you've agreed with a Shaw play call that didn't work?

I rarely if ever scream about a single playcall, but when a pattern emerges over a couple of series or a quarter - especially the third quarter - then I will say something.  The only exception might have been the end of the Utah game

I can, but that's only because I already hurled.

Has anyone else noticed that as this thread has drifted to a discussion of last season's nadir and the resultant meals-of-the-day-in-review, the subject of the thread remains "Cardinal Football at Its Best?"

Thank you PJ.  I started this thread all fired up after watching that game again.  After reading all the posts, I almost lost that loving feeling.  But . . . almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.  GO CARD!

Nice non-answer, WIM (and I read and comprehended your defense of the Utah end-game play calling just fine, even if you don't think so).  But you go ahead believing that sequence was just fine, or defensible, or whatever lipstick you want to put on that pig.  We'll just agree to disagree on that, especially since we should all be happy that football is just a couple days away.
