Shaw is a great HC for Stanford.
Please. . . only in the minds of those not paying attention to football (and you used to do that, murky).
But I tell you what, I'm "all in" for changing Shaw's title to Football Program Ambassador - hell, he can keep the oodles of $$ he is making - and he can keep doing all those things he is doing "repping" Stanford and helping the players grow as men. Just please, for the love of God, hire a real OC and get the hell out of the way!!
Gotta wonder what season tix advance sales will look like next spring. Hello, Bernie? You there, my man?? Program's leaking oil, dude!

Imagine if there were no Covid and next week's game were open to the public. I'm guess about 15,000 people would show up. Though the "official" count would be about 30,000.

Stale recruiting, stale play calling, stale head coach. Watched a boring Oregon game and half of today's boring game. This isn't Gardner, Murph, Skov and Richards playing defense. There is zero electricity in the program. I've been attending for 67 years and most of them have been entertaining. There have been a few Rose Bowls and a lot of great games, win and lose. Right now Stanford is putting on poor entertainment and for that and other reasons I won't be buying tix anymore. I have to admit that age and a longazz drive factor in. I can't imagine that a Stanford ticket will have much value in the foreseeable future. Good luck guys.

What is happening now takes me back to the Paul Wiggen days, like Shaw a great representative for Stanford but not able to really produce a program that can generate excitement and buzz.

Excitement and buzz? I'd take an occasional win....

Stanford's last win was 54 weeks ago.

Solid, candid, credible analysis. Needed to be said. I feel the same as the Phoggemeister.
