Thank heavens my sock drawer needs rearranging. . . .

Rout is on.

My espn feed isn’t working. And I’m thankful this is so.

Thankfully I haven't finished watching today's Masters, so I have something to watch instead of this crap.

This isn't just a bad team. This is now a bad program.

RE: It’s time for football - OutsiderFan - 11-14-2020

Hard to imagine there is a worse team in the country than this dreadful Stanford-coached team.

Mills was an ELITE QB prospect.
Sarell was the #1 or #2 OT recruit.
Bragg is very good.
Rouse was great as a Frosh.
Jones was a Top 5 RB recruit in the country.

So many former 4 and 5 star players just not developing into difference makers on either side of the ball. The coaching and development is bottom shelf in college football.

This is truly PATHETIC. I have definitively given up on Shaw as a coach. He's an admirable man, but I don't view him as a coach who can put together a great O. Remember, he hired Tavita Pritchard who had no credentials and refused to let someone with a great O mind call the plays. Why should we be surprised that we are getting routed again, this time by Colorado? Three lousy FGs, the inability to finish drives, and many bizarre play calls. Color me depressed. I'd prefer to have Phogge call the plays.

LOL. Shotgun draw!

RE: It’s time for football - Langdude - 11-14-2020

Great job by Mills on that drive all the way around. It was strange to see him sort of let up on that TD run; he wasn't in full sprint...

Not arguing about coaching issues.  But I don’t see a whole lot of talent out there especially on the defensive side of the ball.

I literally dont understand how it is physically possible in that situation to allow the back into the endzone untouched.

If there isn't talent, that's on the coaches.
If there is talent but it isn't developing, that's on the coaches too.

I think there's less talent than 4-5 years ago, but the dropoff in development is far greater.

Y'all need to open yourselves to the possibility you would be seeing better players with better coaching.

RE: It’s time for football - old spanish trail - 11-14-2020

Maybe Stanford should have hired Shittu as GDA. Their DL (as well as every other position group, it seems) is better than ours.

Heck, hire Shittu as head coach. Can’t be any worse.

RE: It’s time for football - OutsiderFan - 11-14-2020

Just started watching some of USC and Arizona.  In just a quarter, it's clear how much more legit of a team Arizona is than Stanford, and I know Stanford has way better recruiting classes than Arizona.

RE: It’s time for football - Langdude - 11-14-2020

I don't understand why that was not a fumble recovered by Stanford. I also do not understand why it was not reviewed.

Well time out was called for a review but not sure it was or wasnt It was certainly a fumble

The radio guys said it wasn’t reviewable

RE: It’s time for football - winflop - 11-14-2020

How is this drive not being run as a 2-minute offense? Inconceivably bad coaching...scoring with 2:30 left instead of 3:30 or 4 makes a world of difference

Gilmore was saying how there was a lack of urgency. Seems that has been a pattern the last few years on two-minute drills.
