Separately I assume Heyer is not a big loss (despite being 305). Can anyone confirm or refute that?

I will leave it at the following and let you draw your own conclusion:
In a season where it was clear we were trying basically anyone remotely feasible at guard (FIVE different players rotated in at the two guard spots throughout the season, including walk-on Logan Berzins), Heyer played zero offensive snaps.

Indeed suspiciously quiet. I'm sure we are expecting a few more guys to move on from football, medically retire, etc. but I'd be floored if that were all 12+ that we still need to leave just to break even, let alone more if we have any incoming transfers or additional recruits.

so if I'm player X and a senior/fifth year who could potentially either come back or try and graduate transfer, but have decided to just graduate and go on with my life, would we expect them to make an announcement or would we find out when they are not on the spring roster? And yes I'm assuming the coaches would know at least some of this now (probably a lot of it now).

At the risk of continuing the thread drift, no '24 recruits are LDS and we have OL Zak Yamauchi returning in '25.

ranked 3 star Ath #85 in recruit class, graded 85 (our recruit avg that year was 88.13)
This season played in 4 games, recorded 4 solo + 4 assist tackles

I'm not surprised. He didn't get many opportunities in those early games. Roush was targeted more as the season went along, but not nearly as often as I thought he should have been.
