Game 2 of NLCS: The Mets pitchers shut down the Dodgers bats other than Tommy Edman who had 3 of LA’s 5 hits and drove in 2 of their runs. Also stole a base.

As a Mets fan, enjoying this rare playoff appearance, in comparison to the Dodgers where it is a frequent and familiar experience and likely to return again next year, I'm all in favor of Edman accounting for all of the Dodgers hits ongoing. Although if he could hold himself to singles it would be much appreciated.

NLCS game 3, Dodgers win - Edman with another hit, an early RBI (sac fly) and later, run scored (on K Hernandez homer). Batting .333 in the postseason so far.

NLCS: Tommy Edman keeps on raking! Tonight at Citi Field, 2 for 6, two doubles driving in 3 runs, and a run scored in the Dodgers' rout of NYM.
His sac fly last night was batting lefty, a rocket to the warning track, and his RBI doubles tonight were batting righty and pulled into the left center gap and down the left field line, respectively.

I find it amusing that Sasaki is listed as “first base” and nothing else—not a lot of defensive versatility (either that or DH). I suspect Nati will be moved to one of the other IF spots.
Not a big deal, but frosh pictures were being taken today, so their mugs should be updated soon. :)

9 was the first to be retired, in 2017. May 8 be next, in about 20 years!

ACC seems like a strong baseball conference. Five of last year's Top Ten in RPI were UNC (#4), FSU (#5), Clemson (#8), NC State (#9) and Virginia (#10). Wake Forest (#14), Duke (#20), and Ga Tech (#45) are all in the Top Fifty. That's some impressive baseball.

The Top 100 contains Louisville (#61), VaTech (#68), Notre Dame (#79), Miami (#81), Pitt (#88), Boston College (#89).
Cal was #64, Stanford was #156.
