This seems delightfully different.

Alejado no longer terrifying, merely causing unease.

AGREE.  Hat tip to Def Coordinator -- has em ready.
LBs look impressive

Aidan Kilstrom injured (Center)

Telecast showed Kilstrom leaving the field on a cart *sigh*

Through three quarters:

Stanford yards-per-play: 6.8
Hawaii yards-per-play: 2.7

Maybe Hawaii fans can point their best receiver being out and top RB getting injured in the first quarter, but I'm still very, very impressed by the defense. Just need to hold on for 15 more minutes.

Ernest Cooper down.
crap.

but he's walking off under his own power.

Everything less fun since Kilstrom went down
Game not over yet

Here come the Rainbow Warriors.
Like last year.
Imagine if we did not get that 1 yard TD call now!
Defense is behaving gassed.
Alejado getting too much time now.
Picking us apart

RE: Hawaii game thread - newguy - 08-29-2026

God dammit.

RE: Hawaii game thread - ADPinWDC - 08-29-2026

WOW, Alejado scramble TD toss.

Fortunately, Stanford D shuts down the 2pt

STAN 23, HAWI 21 with 9m to play

Where has the defense gone? The reality is we should have had a bigger lead with so many missed opportunities. Now a nail biter. Offense has to do something to win this game.

RE: Hawaii game thread - needle - 08-29-2026

Another nailbiter. Going to have to trust Warren. Ford and the injured O-line not able to bully .... Hawaii.

RE: Hawaii game thread - ADPinWDC - 08-29-2026

OK, this is easy now...
Call the 9min, bone crushing 80 yard drive to a touchdown in Q4 at home.  Do that.
Starting with big gainer to WR Anthony

it would help if the playcalling wasn’t running off tackle. The Stanford O line simply cannot handle that.

RE: Hawaii game thread - ADPinWDC - 08-29-2026

PUNT.  HAWI gets it at 6 yd line, but only needs a FG now because they got the 2pt conversion their second TD.
Gotta blitz to sack Alejado.

RE: Hawaii game thread - needle - 08-29-2026

Alejado once again terrifying.

it would also help if Stanford defenders weren’t pushing the ball carrier out of bounds.

This is setting up for a Stanford heartbreak.

More time to respond- 4 minute drill

RE: Hawaii game thread - MV72018 - 08-29-2026

That didn’t take long did it?
