RE: Class of 2021 - TrumpCard - 11-12-2021

Seeing as no one has posted in this thread for nearly 5 months, I nominate the thread for unpinning, possibly to be replaced by 2023 recruiting (unless there's a policy to pin each year's recruiting thread on the day of the prior year's National LOI Day).

I see no reason to unpin this thread merely because the frequency of new posts exceeds the attention span of some contributors.  We need to preserve our history, not erase it in obeisance to some politically correct minority.

One can travel to Richmond VA to lament in person the removal of the statue of abusive slaveholder Robert E. Lee, which you may think "erased" "our history" "in obeisance to" a "politically correct minority." Putting "Robert E. Lee slaveholder" into the Google search box,  brings up a link to an article entitled "Myths and Misunderstandings: Robert E. Lee as a Slaveholder" by Sean Kane, from 2017. It's on the American Civil War Museum website (acwm.org). I found it quite illuminating.

Wow! It must be sad and boring to immediately see race in everything.

The entering class of 2021 is already enrolled and playing football, so there is little point in keeping the thread pinned. Unpinning the thread obviously does not erase it. Moreover, you can quickly find old recruiting threads on the recruiting board at

We need to not bring politics into every thread.

RE: Class of 2021 - Phogge - 11-12-2021

Let's erase it and all records pertaining to 2021.

Fan #1: "Remember 2021 Stanford football?"

Fan #2: "There was no 2021 Stanford season."

I agree with Fan #2.
