Lastella is a statue out there. Get better Thairo!! Bart is better catcher than Wynns. And he so far has only major hit in game. I think it's because they must have convinced him to stop restrapping after every pitch at bat. Looks like we r going to get a chance to see whether Villar is real.

Longoria hurt again.

This off season time to dump the old guys who are hurt again and again. Don't resign Belt, do the Longoria buyout. Not sure re LaStella contract but get rid of him.

I think some guys are plateaued: Slater, Yaz, Estrada. Place holders. Wood and Cobb? Only if they can buy better.

Will they spend? Will they stop getting guys like Walton who can't play?

Of course the warrior tried to talk the Old Man out of the action. He also was probably correct to meet the blue coats from a defensive position with the CSA army between DC and Meade. As Lee said, "It's all my fault."

Just sayin' ....

San Jose Giants are 46-31, the $5 tix are decent, AND there's a beer batter every-other inning.  The kids are having fun this year and the season doesn't feel like a soul-less trudge to September.  Spend a bit more than the $5 minimum and $15 tickets get you and your family a picnic table on the left field line next to the beer and brat stand.

Of course the SJ Giants are playing the likes of the Visalia Nuts and Fresno Grizzlies but if you're looking for excitement and joy this year you might look 40 miles South of 24 Willie Mays Plaza.

Kyle Harrison picked for the Futures Game. May be on MLB Network or ESPN.

Interesting to see if the Giants fastrack him by promoting to Sacto later in the year. They may need him in the second half in 2023.

David Villar was also picked for the Futures game. How does that work, when he is on the Giants now, and hit his first MLB HR last night?

Anyway, Joc Pedersen was named an All-Star, so that should goose his trade trade value in a couple weeks.

As right as I was about the Giants and Braves a month ago, I was dead wrong about the Phillies, who are now 3 games up on the Giants for the 3rd WC spot, and 1 up on the now #4 Cardinals, with the best record in MLB since that time. Never saw that coming.

Please, Farhan, put this Giants team out of its misery and sell, sell, sell!!!

Who can they sell other than Rodon and Joc? Who would take on Longoria, Lastella, Wood, and Cobb with their injury issues? Won't trade Crawford or Belt and shouldn't trade Webb, Thairo, Duval, and Villar(?) That leaves Flores, Brebbia, and Leone((?) as desirable. And, hey, maybe Slater. He does have the highest batting avg and by far highest on base percentage right now. Someone might go for Yaz with the name.
