We had 44 reebs to 28 for Texas. We had 14 assists, UT only 8, for the entire game!
Hugely important. Haley came up big on the boards with 12, Fran with 11.
59-50. We didin't wilt in Q4.

That being said, I do like outscoring our opponent 9-2 to end the game than whatever the hell happened at the end of the Maryland game.

Great gritty win. I really have nothing to complain about. Yes three point shooting could be better but Texas is a GREAT defensive team. They dictated the style of play and we beat them at their own game. Great leadership from our star players. Lexie, Brink and Jones all played with incredible toughness. And with the game on the line, they were money from the free throw line.

Gritty absolutely the right word. Those three on the all tournament team, Haley the MOP. I think it should have been Lexie, but one can make a case either way. Fantastic play from all. And Don't forget so many others, a real team effort. Fran really contributed, clutch when Cam in foul trouble, massive in rebounding.

Odd: Friday's final 6-pt margin of victory was not indicative of how one-sided the game was; yet tonight's larger 9-pt margin of victory was not indicative of how tight this game was.
