Quote:In regard to the MB position, the NCAA transfer portal is filled with MBs at academic schools but I don't see anyone who would be at a skill level needed by Stanford.

We do have 2 MBers in our recruiting class, Lizzie Andrew who is 6'5", top 10 rated (I think, BobK can correct me) and likely to start with Francis, plus Sidney Duncan, a walk-on.  Of course, we could use another one.

What a story.

Yes Andrew is # 8 in one ranking

Wow, that is a fantastic article. So much about both Kipp and the whole program.

One of my favorite quotes in a long time:

“What I end up doing probably doesn’t even exist yet,” she said.

I have not seen video of the loss at ASU, but I think the team will be fired up to avenge that loss.  I expect all three sets will be close, but I will predict a 3-0 sweep.

Watch the ASU match here

Thanks

Andrew is a great player.  On all of the national teams and a consistent starter.  I would be shocked if she doesn't start day 1.  Assuming she and Francis stay healthy we will be fine at MB next year.  Not our problem.

The next year we are recruiting Taylor Harvey.  Younger sister of Jordyn.  An absolute beast.  More like 6-2 but super springy and super athletic.  Best MB prospect I have seen in a long time.

The only problem is even if we get Taylor we have no back-ups.....

We have a 2025 MB commit. Some of us believe Sayer. Big John have you seen her play

RE: Stanford Women’s Volleyball - Softball Fan - 12-06-2023

Erika Sayor  6'2" MB Colorado Juniors.  Under college it states "committed".  Only player in their club 2023/2024 rosters with the college not specified.

#7. I correctly guessed which one was her just from her physique.

RE: Stanford Women’s Volleyball - johnbar - 12-07-2023

Tennessee takes sets 2 and 3, after Texas took set 1.  Upset brewing? In any case, Stanford/ASU will be late.

RE: Stanford Women’s Volleyball - oldalum - 12-07-2023

Texas 26-24 in the 4th; on to the 5th set!

RE: Stanford Women’s Volleyball - TonyLima - 12-07-2023

Where is tonight’s game?

RE: Stanford Women’s Volleyball - Nobadeer - 12-07-2023

If/when Texas v. Tenn finally ends, LSJU plays next, inside Roscoe Maples pavilion. Televised on ESPNU, I think.
