Zach Ertz led everyone in yesterday's two conference title games with 11 receptions (104 yards) for the ousted Commanders. His most in a game since 2019. He shows no signs of slowing down and is now in the top 10 all time in NFL history for tight ends in receptions, yards and TDs! Future Hall of Famer?
Justin Reid 5 tackles, and on to another Super Bowl for the seemingly unbeatable Chiefs.

Shaw previously worked with new Lions offensive coordinator John Morton with the then-Oakland Raiders in 1998-2001, as well as with the Broncos this past season.
Morton moved from passing game coordinator in 2024 to OC in 2025.

Good for Pritchard; I wish he had done this before coming to Stanford. I hope he continues to develop his knowledge and body of work and establishes himself as an offensive coach. People I've talked to seem to think he has the smarts and disposition to excel as a head coach at some point.
Also, happy for Shaw to land somewhere and have a chance to re-establish his credentials. He is, after all, a well-respected coach. I hope it works out for him. Notwithstanding how his term at Stanford ended (and I think his successor is showing that the job is hard), I think he is highly capable under the right circumstances.

Drew Dalman signs a three-year, $42M contract ($28M guaranteed) with the Chicago Bears in a departure from the Atlanta Falcons. He reportedly turned down more money because he wanted to play for Ben Johnson and with Caleb Williams. Dalman was rated as the 4th-best center last year by PFF. The contract makes Dalman the second-highest paid center.

He has the athletic ability to execute the same offense that Deshaun Watson or Jalen Hurts runs. However, as he showed at Cleveland he simply isn't a good/reliable enough passer to be an NFL quarterback. DTR was not at all in the running to be a starting QB in Cleveland. Kenny Pickett will be. Tanner McKee has arguably shown that he is a "good enough" QB to be (at a minimum) a reliable QB2 in the NFL. However he can't execute the running part of the Eagles current offense. He is a very poor fit in Philadelphia for that reason. It may be that Philadelphia is looking at "QB2 by committee" since neither of its choices are perfect fits.

I agree that Tanner doesn't fit the Hurts offensive scheme. I'm surprised that the Eagles didn't pick a better QB2 to backup Hurts and trade Tanner to a team with a traditional offense (SF? SEA? LV?).

But he is coming back from a broken leg and goes from the NFC South, which had maybe 1 superstar WR (Evans) to the NFC East, loaded with large and fast and elusive star WRs like Lamb (6-2, 200), AJ Brown (6-1, 225), McLaurin (6-0, 210), Deebo (6-0, 215). Adebo is going to earn every penny of his salary trying to shut down those guys!
