Hodel & Kraft went 1-1 in pool, and easily won their first elimination match against a Thai team.
But they lost in three sets to another American team (Savvy & Van Winkle) in the round of 16.

Belardi & Bell are playing for a spot in the World University Games U26 team.  They went 1-1 in pool, and next play alumna Taylor Wilson, with Natalie Myszkowski, who went 2-0.

The 2026 class of recruits is keeping busy on the CBVA circuit.
Yesterday Ruby Cochrane (with Avery Junk) won a AA event in Santa Monica, earning her AAA rating.
She has also played other events with other incoming recruits.

Today she's playing in an Open with Taylor Ponchak ('25)

They will be playing in the NORCECA qualifier in the Dominican Republic next month:

Xolani Hodel playing in the FIVB Challenger event in Turkey, with Deahna Kraft.
They went 2-0 in pool play so got a first round bye.  Unfortunately, upset by a Polish team (2-1) in the round of 16.

At the CBVA Manhattan Beach Open on 6/14, Estelle Reese (2026) (with Kate Stewart) tied for third (lost a semifinal match to a team that included AVP pro Geena Urango).
Kylee-Jo Wilson (2027); Samantha Krystkowiak each took a 9th; Olga Nikolaeva tied for 13th.

tl;dr:  Avery Jackson plays in a semifinal tomorrow morning.

Olga Nikolaeva (2026) (with Grace Fogel) went 1-2 in pool B
 - won their first two matches in play-offs, fell in the quarters
Mikki Carlin (2025) (with Sara Moynihan) went 3-0 in pool C
 - first round bye, lost in the second
Avery Jackson (rising soph) (with Kyra Zaengle) won pool D 2-1
 - first round bye, won next two; -> semis
Charlotta Bell & Elena Fisher (rising sophs) went 3-0 in pool E
 - first round bye, won second, lost in third to Jackson/Zaengle
Estelle Reese (2026) (with Emma Stewart) went 0-3 in pool E
Thalia Lindahl (2027) (with Zoe Joshua) went 1-2 in pool G
 - came in third in their pool, but did not advance to playoffs; don't know why
Babi Gubbins (rising soph) (with Adelina Okazaki) went 3-0 in pool H
 - first round bye, lost in second
Logan Tusher (rising soph) (with Elle Evers) went 1-2 in pool H
- eliminated in first round of playoffs

Meanwhile, in a Norceca qualifier, Clara Stowell (with Hailey Hamlett) went 2-0 in pool 2.
Kelly Belardi (with Natalie Myszkowski) went 2-0 in pool 4.

Each team got a first round bye and won their second round, and are in separate semifinal matches.
