Modern day, you're correct.
Gossage, Rickey Henderson and
Hoyt Wilhelm were all 9.
Gaylord Perry and Lee Smith were 8.
Waite Hoyt, Al Simmons and Roberto Alomar were 7.
100+ years ago, leagues and teams folded with semi-regularity, so these HoFers switched teams at a brisk pace:
Dan Brouthers, 10
Deacon White, 9
Jim O'Rourke, 8
Burleigh Grimes, 7
King Kelly, 7
All the players in bold played for the SF or NY Giants at one time or another.

Who is the only active player in the top 25 career on base %?

Probably one of Cabrera, Votto or Trout. I’ll probably go with Trout, because it is such a Tungsten Arm O’Doyl stat…

Three batters on the top-10 career strike outs (struck outs?) list are in the hall of fame, and another two are active. Who are they?

Nope. The active players are Miguel Cabrera (2015) and Justin Upton (1971).
The hall of farmers are Reggie Jackson (2597), Jim Thome (2548) and Willie Stargell (1936).

Very first game I saw was an 8-0 win by the Giants over the Pirates, Wednesday, August 23, 1972. 8,330 diehards attended. McCovey hit a home run, Bobby Bonds and Tito Fuentes stole bases, Dave Rader hit a double. Jim Barr pitched a two-hit shutout with five strikeouts and just one walk. Pirates had two errors, Giants scored three unearned runs.
But the best of all, in the eyes of a nine year old, is that Jim Barr threw a curve to Stargell that was so slow its speed could have been measured with a sundial. Stargell, an All-Star in 1972 who led the NL in HRs both the year before and the year after this game and finished third in the MVP voting, swung so hard (and missed), he spun around twice and fell on his read end, striking out. My favorite moment in the game. In fairness, Stargell
did lead the NL in strikeouts the year before and he's in the Top 10 in career strikeouts.
Stargell won the MVP in 1979 at the age of 39 -- without making the All Star team. Not uncommon, it's happened 14 times. Stargell, BTW, was the second-oldest to win the MVP, Barry Bonds was oldest at age 40.
Who was the oldest MLB home run champion?
Who was the oldest Opening Day starting pitcher?
Who were the oldest All Stars (pitcher and position player)
