thanks. it's reported and discussed in the brink is going to the olympics thread.
Yah in retrospect that thread title was too much a taunt to the Woofing Gods... Though even I didn't think about that at the time... Sigh.

Fun fact: Caitlin Clark has made more shots at a higher percentage from 25+ feet (29, 33.3%) than Angel Reese has from 4+ feet (13, 25.5%).

Fun fact #2, Caitlin Clark has 88 turnovers, leads the WNBA. Next closest behind her has 57. At this rate, she'll break the all-time single-season turnover record of 137 with room to spare at a projected 220 (yes, I know Luka Doncic led the NBA in turnovers).

nice to see cam high on the list. katie lou in "front court" ahead of, say, tina charles? kl is averaging 6 pts per game and doesn't even start for indiana.

Two things:
1) Kiana Williams was waived by the Storm last week (I though she had a contract for the entire season?). And today she was signed to a 7-day contract. Cruel business.
2) Great article in the LA Times on the Ogwumike sisters. Might be behind a paywall:

Forgot Kiana was still in the league. Thinking back to our natty team...Cam, Haley, Lexie, Kiana - 4 starters are currently playing in the WNBA. And we had more pro talent on the bench with Kiki, Ashten, Fran. Just goes to show how loaded we were with talent which is a must in women's hoops these days to be a Top-10 team. Do we have even one WNBA player on the team next year?

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, yesterday's WNBA All-Stars vs Team USA Olympic team, won by the WNBA All-Stars, 117-109.
https://www.espn.com/wnba/boxscore/_/gameId/401620458
Arike Ogunbowale scored 34, Nneka started and scored 14, Angel Reese had 11 rebounds and scored 12 points off the bench, Caitlin Clark had 10 assists (one shy of Starbird's record 11) and led both teams with five steals.

Nneka does not seem like a petty person but I hope (and bet) she takes a tremendous amount of pride in beating Team USA for the second straight time in this All Star game format. Credit the WNBA for taking advantage of the calendar to set up this event, Team USA vs Team WNBA is the best All Star game in sports these days. Perhaps Team USA losing for the second consecutive Olympic cycle would open some eyes to the team selection process. Nneka being left of the 2021 roster will never sit right with me but I am thankful she has gotten the opportunity to beat them where it should matter, on the court.

I was always more of a Lexie fan than a Haley fan. Not at all surprised to see Lexie growing in the WNBA and Haley fading a bit. Indiana may be feeling a sigh of relief at having used a #6 (7?) draft pick on Lexie and Atlanta wondering if Haley was in fact worth a pick that high.

The whole interview is entertaining, the three players have lively senses of humor. But the comment you're referencing is at the 5 minute mark.
