Me too. Lexie took the better part of three seasons, but hopefully seems to have finally turned the corner.

But I'll say this--from the day she launched it, I always felt like Haley's podcast title had an ill-foreboding and unintional, bench-warming connotation to it... I'm starting to worry it's actually just aptly named.

Anyone have a link to it?

The whole interview is entertaining, the three players have lively senses of humor. But the comment you're referencing is at the 5 minute mark.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NO1ba4Dp2Ls

that is pretty funny! (and, yes, if you want to know what she said, you'll have to listen for yourself!)

Haley probably needs to tear her jump shot down to the studs and start over. Not an easy thing to commit too.

Karlie with 19 points yesterday. 6 of 6 overall 5 of 5 from three. Willing Washington to the playoffs

RE: WBB: Stanford WNBA - bl82 - 09-06-2024

I love what Karlie has done with her career. What determination and perseverance!

RE: WBB: Stanford WNBA - Nobadeer - 09-11-2024

Lexie Hull with a career-high 40 minutes played in Sunday's overtime win for the playoff bound Fever, with 12 pts (4 for 5 on threes), 4 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl!

That team has an inordinately high number of early draft picks. Lexie was #6 overall. CC and Aliyah Boston were #1 overall, Kelsey Mitchell and NaLyissa Smith were #3 overall. Dantas was #12.

RE: WBB: Stanford WNBA - Hurlburt88 - 09-12-2024

Lexie leading in 3-point shooting percentage @ 49.3%!

RE: WBB: Stanford WNBA - Nobadeer - 09-25-2024

Lexie's WNBA season (and CC's too) ends in playoff loss at Conn. It wasn't her best game, 31 mins, 3 of 9 shooting, 2 T/O, fouled out.

Carrington had 10 pts, 4 rebs for victorious Sun.

Nneka's Seattle Storm team also got swept in the first round.

Dijonai CARRINGTON is the WNBA's 2024 Most Improved Player.
Congratulations!

RE: WBB: Stanford WNBA - Nobadeer - 10-08-2024

Alanna Smith: 7 pts 3 reb 3 ast 1 blk for victorious Minn. Lynx, headed to the WNBA finals!

In a losing cause, Carrington double-double, 17 pts 12 reb to lead the Sun.

alanna 2nd team

RE: WBB: Stanford WNBA - old spanish trail - 10-09-2024

Carrington was the only Sun player who seemed to care last eve. She played super hard.

RE: WBB: Stanford WNBA - Nobadeer - 10-10-2024

Alanna Smith was a hero for the Lynx in its overtime comeback win in game 1 of the WNBA finals. 30 minutes, 9 pts, 9 reb, 4 ast, 3 blk, including the key offensive rebound and ensuing assist on the game-tying 3 pointer in regulation.

She's become an excellent shot blocker. I don't recall her ever blocking a shot on the Farm. As reflected above, she does MORE than a little of everything.

Alanna 3rd all time in blocks at Stanford

RE: WBB: Stanford WNBA - Nobadeer - 10-13-2024

Alanna Smith in game 2 of the WNBA Finals: 31 mins, 14 pts (6 of 9 FG), 2 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl for the Lynx, who lost 80-66.

RE: WBB: Stanford WNBA - Jskass - 10-13-2024

her defense was very strong and they were in it until she was pulled w about 4 mins to go, then they completely fell apart!

RE: WBB: Stanford WNBA - BillBradley - 10-13-2024

And to think the Fever waived her in 2022. She's pretty much exactly what they need right now. Oops!
