The question was "What is the oldest international sporting competition still held in any sport?"
No mention about continuous or annual. The first two questions were limited to continuously held events.

The America’s Cup has many long multi-year breaks and even now is competed every 3/4 years. If we’re disqualifying the Preakness and Belmont for missing two years then what are we doing with the ACs 19 and 17 year gaps?
Here's the original question. The original question was about "continuously held annual sporting events." The third question was about the oldest international sporting competition still held in any sport and was not constricted by regularity.

Name four Stanford Wide Receivers who began their careers as QB's, and then shifted to wide receiver.
Hint: Two had starting some games at qb.
Hint: One saw considerable time as a qb.
Hint: One was recruited as a qb but shifted to wr due to shoulder/arm problems.

The answers are:
- Mike Connelly. Played QB in 63, then WR 64 and 65
- Gene Washington and Mark Marquess. Marquess played QB as a Soph and Jr, then started his senior year as a DB then moved to WR due to injuries to the othere WRs, Marquess started against Cal. Took a leave from the football team during his senior year to play for the USA Baseball Team in tournament of teams from Latin America, this was fully supported by John Ralstron.

The answers are: Blaine Nye who played for the Cowboys, returned to Stanford to obtain a Ph.D in Econ. And George Buehler who played for the Raiders.
Nye was also an outstanding Rugby player at Stanford, who at that time had an outstanding Rugby program coached by a former Stanford Running Back who played in the Rose Bowl.

Barry Bonds holds the record for most intentional bases on balls in a season with 120 (in fact, he holds six of the top nine places on that list). Bonds broke the existing record of 45 intentional bases on balls when he was intentionally walked 68 times in 2002.

That's correct, McCovey had the record of 45, set in 1969. Circumstances essentially dictated it. McCovey was the NL MVP that year, hitting 45 home runs, 126 RBI, scored 101 runs, 1.108 OPS, OPS+ of 209. And he had nothing around him.
Mays batted in front of McCovey, his power was basically gone -- 13 HRs all year. Davenport (.241), Ken Henderson (.225) and Dick Dietz (.230) batted after McCovey. Pitchers obviously didn't fear them. Bonds was in the lineup and did well, but he usually batted second.
Even so, the Giants finished 90-72, three games behind the Braves, who lost to the Amazin Mets and Tom Seaver in the NLCS.
