Why is no one talking about Shaw's clock management? -

Surprised no one is talking about how Shaw completely blundered clock management at the end of the usc game. Down two scores with 2:42 left and two timeouts is not the end of the world but he didn't use a single timeout despite multiple plays that left the clock running?!? Seems like he gave up on the team and just wanted the game to end rather than trying to win...

Take a look at the Denver Seattle game this eve if you want to see poor clock management...by the Nate Hackett Broncos and Russel Wilson. Much worse than anything from Shaw.

I get it at first. If you score at 210 with 2 time outs you can get the ball back on a 3 and out if you kick deep or fail the onside kick.
Once you’re in “we need to recover an onside kick to have a chance” mode then sure, use the time outs.
